TET teachers Recruitment Assam 2020 notification is released by Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam for 9,635 posts.

According to latest Honorable Gauhati High Court order that the candidates who left out to fill their online application with having all required eligibility criteria are now able to submit applications for the same recruitment. Candidates who already applied need not apply again.

Two different recruitment notifications are released in 2018 to recruit 5,515 regular teachers in lower primary schools of Assam and 4,120 regular teachers in Upper Primary schools of the state.

Age Limit: Candidates age limit must be between 18 years to 38 years of age as on 1st January, 2018. (Relaxation of upper age limit will be considered for SC/ ST candidates and persons with disability for 5 years as per norms).

Pay Scale: Pay Band II, Rs.14, 000 – Rs.49, 000/- with Grade Pay as admissible.

SC/STP/STH: Rs.150/- (Rupees One Hundred Fifty Only)

BPL: Nil (Exempted from Fee)

Others: Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only)

Educational Qualification for TET Assam LP Job

1. Any one from below:-

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary

Education (by whatever name known).

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations 2002.

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-Year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-Year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

2. Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), to be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. [5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST (P)/ ST (H)/OBC/MOBC & Physically handicapped candidates.]

Educational Qualification for TET Assam UP Job

Assistant Teacher: BA/ B.Sc. from the UGC recognized University and UP TET and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed. or D.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. (Special Education)

Science Teacher: B.Sc. from the UGC recognized University and UP TET qualified in Science and Mathematics stream. and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed. or D.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. (Special Education)

Hindi Teacher: A/ B.Sc. from the UGC recognized University having Hindi as one of the subjects and UP TET and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education)

Arabic Teacher: BA/ B.Sc. from the UGC recognized University having Arabic as one of the subjects and UP TET and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed. or D.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. (Special Education)

Assamese Language: BA/ B.Sc. from the UGC recognized University having Assamese as one of the subjects and Teacher UP TET and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed. or D.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. (Special Education)
